Kenyaways Beach Hotel in Galu is the best place for a hotel and beach vacation in Africa. Located in the beach resort town of Diani Beach which is on the South coast of Mombasa, East Africa. Diani Beach on the South coast of Kenya is conveniently located for anyone visiting Kenya for beach and safari. It is 3 hours from Tsavo East National Park where the big 5 roam. It is half an hour from the beautiful forests of Shimba Hills where leopards and elephants are teeming. It is less than 2 hours from the Tanzanian border, less than 40mins to Mombasa, and has an airport where you can fly direct to the Masai Mara. The Kenya South coast is unique to Kenya and very different to the dry landscape of the north coast. it boasts a typical tropical paradise with white powder soft sand coconut trees, brilliant blue Lagoon And miles of it. It is far less spoilt than the overcrowded beaches of Nyali, Mombasa, Mtwapa, Malindi and Lamu and even Zanzibar.
Diani Beach is easy to reach by air or road or train. You can fly direct to Diani from Nairobi wilson airport or Nairobi International airport. You can also fly via Mombasa and just get a short one hour journey to the South coast. By train you can get a taxi to get to Diani from the train station, or you can try one of Kenya’s public ‘matatu’ buses. The bus can either take you as far as Diani but most take you to Mombasa town and you can get to Diani Beach from there. Diani Beach is also located just north of the Tanzanian border and is very convenient for onward travel to Zanzibar or Mt.Kilimanjaro.
